Day 21 | 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

Today’s Verse: 

“But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!” Revelation 2:4

Devotional: 

Congratulations, it’s day 21! You have made it through 21 days of prayer and fasting. Fasting is important as the years go one in our walk with the Lord. Giving this significant amount of time to seek the Lord is important. A wedding ring is a symbol of love and when you see it on your finger, it’s a reminder that you love someone. The Bible warns us to not forget our first love. Revelation 2:4 “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!” Don’t forget about your first love, God, the one who created you. Don’t live with God on a shelf in your life…a forgotten shelf. There is a prophetic warning given to the church so let’s heed that warning today and not forget about God. As the 21 days went on, we were reminded of our first love, God. When you look back on your salvation experience, it was a day full of love and forgiveness. Look back on that day and remember your first love. Are you heeding the warning? Do you remember your first love? Have you connected with Jesus? Let’s live out the rest of 2024 connecting with God.

Prayer:

I don’t want to forget my first love. I don’t want to forget what you have done in me over these last 21 days. Help me always remember the miralces you did in my life. I am so thankful for your faithfulness to me God, I remember my first love today and I don’t forget my first love. Amen.
