Devotional:

Gather Up the Fragments.

“When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’” — John 6:12ReflectionJesus had just performed an incredible miracle, feeding over 5,000 people with five loaves and two fish. Yet, after everyone had eaten, He told His disciples to gather the leftovers. Nothing was to be wasted.God’s work in your life is like those fragments—precious, valuable, and not meant to be discarded. Every blessing, every answered prayer, every lesson learned, and every moment of conviction is a fragment God wants you to treasure.Lessons from the Fragments

1. Remember His WorksGod’s blessings are not ordinary; they are reminders of His faithfulness. Take time to reflect on them, give thanks, and let them strengthen your faith. (Psalm 103:2 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:”)

2. Preserve the LessonsEvery trial and triumph carries a lesson. Don’t let them slip away. Journal your experiences, meditate on Scripture, and obey God’s instructions so the lessons remain alive. (Hebrews 2:1 “Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.”)

3. Share His BlessingsJust as the fragments fed others later, your testimonies and experiences can encourage and minister to someone else. God doesn’t waste what He gives—neither should we. (2 Corinthians 1:4 “who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”)

4. Respond QuicklyConviction from God is precious. Don’t delay obedience, forgiveness, or surrender. Respond promptly, and the impact will multiply. (James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”)

5. Treasure Small BeginningsEven the smallest acts of obedience or faithfulness are fragments God can use for great things. Don’t despise them. (Zechariah 4:10 “For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”)

Did God do a work in you and speak to you?

Do you feel encouraged and challenged by the Lord to hold fast to what has been spoken to you?

What was the work that God did in you these last 21 days?

Prayer:

God these last 21 days has been both amazing and challenging. Help me not forget what you have spoken to me and taught me. I pray that I will remember everything and not forget. Thank you for doing a great work in me over these last 21 days and I pray that this sticks with me for all of 2026. Amen.
