Pastor Tim Forsthoff | Prayer and fasting causes us to be filled with God’s power. Jesus went on a 40 day fast and afterward went out and started His public ministry. While fasting, he was led out into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil but He did not give into that temptation. Instead, He was filled with God’s power to minister. We have access to that same power when we fast and pray.
