Day 01 | 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

Today’s Verse: 

Sow righteousness for yourselves,
    reap the fruit of unfailing love,
and break up your unplowed ground;
    for it is time to seek the Lord,
until he comes
    and showers his righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12

Devotional: 

Kick off the 21 days of prayer and fasting with Pastor Tim. We are going to SEEK the face of God. Draw close, getting to know God more and more. Hosea 10:12 tells us to seek the Lord until He comes and reigns righteousness upon you. There is always a promise that if you seek the Lord, He will come. It is time to seek the Lord, make Jesus your King. Have you wandered away, strayed, come back to God today. Break up your fallow ground today and SEEK God with us. Preparing the heart to receive God is really up to us as individuals. You are the only one who is responsible to prepare your own heart.

1. Do you understand the times and the seasons?
2. What time is it in your life?
3. Do you need to get more serious about pursuing God?

Prayer:

God, thank you for your purpose in desert seasons. Thank you that you want to speak to me, and you want to increase my ability to hear your voice. I pray that you would open my spiritual ears and remove any blockages in my life that hinder my relationship with you. Help me reframe how I view my dry season and enter this fast with an expectancy to hear your voice. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
