Matthew 13:44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

A. Have you found the Lord?

B. Have you surrendered things to the Lord?

1. The man “sold all” for the treasure.

2. Finding Jesus, growing in Jesus is so wonderful. Surrendering your life to the Lord for more of Jesus is a wonderful trade-off.

C. Are you experiencing joy?

1. When you find the treasure, you experience true joy.

2. Joy

3. Peace

4. Love

5. Power

6. Purity

D. Keep Seeking – Keep Praying – Keep feeding on His Word.

Prayer:

As my fast continues, I am praying that an oil of joy would be poured out upon my life. I want to be marked and known as a joyful Christian. Make my joy unspeakable and unexplainable to those around me. I want my joy to come from you and not my circumstances. Amen.
