The greeters ministry at Cornerstone Church is dedicated to welcoming all of God's people into His house. We serve together as a family to show the love of Christ to all who enter through the doors. We pass out bulletins, encourage people, offer an edifying word, and seek out new visitors. We are the frontline soldiers in God's army, preparing the congregation to hear His Word.

As greeters we are the first impression visitors have of our church, therefore we strive to show them the love that exists here. Our ministry allows for close fellowship, an opportunity to meet people, and the reward of being part of what God is doing at Cornerstone.

A testimony from one of our greeters:

"Serving as greeters has been very rewarding for Cheryl and me.  It is a privilege and a joy.  We are the first representatives of the church at Cornerstone that people meet.  We reflect Christ and the vision of our pastor.  As greeters, we have the opportunity to extend a warm welcome, encourage, exhort and also pray with all who enter.  It is our desire to let God’s love shine through us to touch the heart of each person we greet and make newcomers feel “at home”.  I have said, on more than one occasion, Pastor Tim has a good job at Cornerstone, but being a greeter is really where it’s at!
